According to ancient tradition, #Iolcus was an important ancient metropolis between the modern city of #Volos and Portaria. From here, Jason started the #Argonaut campaign in order to bring the golden fleece and become later the #King of this lush green #utopia.
The modern #traveler, as he leaves behind Volos following a serpentine road, is automatically transported back to the past. Green slopes, impressive stone #houses fully harmonized with the #environment and endless views of the sea that #relax the eyes and #calm the soul.
