#5 St. Demetrios, Kalianos Gorge ~ Euboea Island, Greece
This place is about two and a half hours east of Athens, the capital of Greece. At the southeast coast of Euboea island, you need to be brave enough to visit a frequently windy beach called St. Demetrios Kallianos (here is only a canteen and many free-hippie-campers, nothing else) and then to walk the gorge for about 30 minutes to find this magic place shown at the pictures.

#4 Neda Waterfalls, Ancient Olympia ~ Peloponnese, Greece
Ancient Olympia, the homeland of Olympic Games, obviously named after this region of Greece. Neda waterfalls are about 250 km southwest of Athens. This place still remains virgin despite the increasing amount of people visiting every year. Most probably you will not find someone to buy a bottle of water and only 30-50 km away you can find luxury resorts and hotels to stay. But it really worths it!

the following map with showing a big hiking route will give you a clue of the surrounding area:

#3 Sarakiniko ~ Milos Island, Greece
You must have heard this island's name before. It is from the famous statue Aphrodite of Milos. We present you its most popular and particular beach, called Sarakiniko. A name connected to the past, when the Saracine pirates used to occupy this place, hiding their gold...

In Milos island there is a big port and airport, all tourist facilities and plenty of sport activities offered.

You can reach this place by boat on abt 6 hours or with a flight from the capital Athens that lasts only 45 minutes.

#2 Pisina ~ Koufonissi Island, Greece
Every time I am visiting Koufonissi, this tiny little Aegean island, I become speechless. At first.... Then I start adoring life, myself, holidays, mother nature, sports... Till I end up loving most of the people around me.

I tell you, something magic is going on here. Some rumors say that this group of islands, the Small East Cyclades, used to be sacred during the ancient times and much respected... Maybe it has to do...

Koufonissi is southwest of Athens, has only a port and used to be hosting only small groups of hippy people, all nudists, before some touristic infrastructure take place. Now you can visit it with a ferry from Piraeus. It will take you up to 7 hours. It is so small that you can walk around it in half a day. But remember: You will never get bored ! ! ! #1 Giola ~ Thassos Island, Greece
Thassos is a beautiful island in Northern Greece. Remains carefully its low profile and its secrets of course... But it is about time to reveal is HUGE advantage, don' t you think...?

No words about Giola natural tub, a piscine just next to the ocean. Try to find all of information you can and put this place at your top of your holidays wishing list!
